Despite the season ending for the Pirates; don`t want to forget to highlight the accomplishment of Port boy`s soccer very own, Peter Metz, joining the PWHS Athletic Hall of Fame this fall.
Peter was a cornerstone of the great teams in the early 1990s and went on to do, and continues to do great things in the soccer world. You can also find him attending every alumni game back at Port High.
Peter joins another Athletic Hall of Fame member, Shirli Flack, with numerous contributions to the high school soccer program!
Congrats Pete!

Pirates go down in the regional final to the #4 seed, Kettle Moraine Lutheran.
Conceding 3 set piece goals in the first half proved too much to overcome in a do or die playoff game.
Although we did not meet our goals for the playoffs this year, some day soon we can look back at this season as a success.
This senior class was a special group and deserves all the credit in moving this program in the right direction.

While we are heartbroken that our season ended earlier than we wanted, this team truly accomplished some of the impossible. Over the last 3 months, we achieved:
- a conference championship, after finishing last the previous year
- 26-12 record
- 2 tournament wins
- created a sense of family that we will never forget.
And that’s only to name a few. The list could go on and on.

We’re determined to get back to work next year. Go Pirates!
