Port Washington High School is proud to announce that junior Sawyer Lorier has been selected to the 2025–26 WIAA Student-Athlete Leadership Team, joining a prestigious group of student-athletes from across the state who exemplify excellence in athletics, academics, and leadership.

Sawyer is one of only six student-athletes from District 7 chosen for this honor. The Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association (WIAA) established the Student-Athlete Leadership Team to bring together student leaders from a wide variety of sports and school communities to provide input on issues affecting high school athletics, promote positive sportsmanship, and serve as role models within their schools and beyond.

This recognition is a testament to Sawyer’s dedication both on and off the field. His leadership, character, and commitment to representing Port Washington with pride have not gone unnoticed.
