Port Washington High School senior Tre’Jon Igess made history at the Sheboygan South Indoor Track Meet, shattering the school’s triple jump record with a stunning leap of 45 feet, 4 inches. His record-breaking performance surpassed the previous mark of 44 feet, 2 ¼ inches, set by Darius Will in 2014.
Tre’Jon saved his best for last, delivering the record-breaking jump on his final attempt of the meet. His dominant performance secured him first place by more than five feet, leaving no doubt about his victory.
With this historic jump, Tre’Jon cements his legacy at Port Washington High School. As the season continues, he’ll look to build on this success and push his record even further.
